Jasmine Peterson (she/her) is a passionate and seasoned community advocate with extensive experience in public engagement, strategic communications, and environmental sustainability. Jasmine was born and raised in neighborhoods throughout Stockton, California. Jasmine currently serves LMR as the Environmental Justice Internal Director, working to improve community wellbeing and promote sustainable development practices. She excels in coordinating with local governments and stakeholders to generate impactful environmental programs and policies. Jasmine prioritizes team-building and collaboration, understanding that the most formidable challenges require collective effort and diverse perspectives. She has a successful track record of assembling and leading high-performing teams that are unafraid to tackle complex issues head-on. Her leadership style encourages open communication, creative problem-solving, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jasmine is deeply committed to civic service, holding various leadership positions that underscore her dedication to community development and her love for others. As the Founder and former Managing Director of Third City Coalition, she played a pivotal role in fostering urban revitalization and policy advocacy, always with a focus on creating inclusive spaces for dialogue and growth. Her tenure as Board President at Community Medical Centers highlights her financial acumen and leadership capabilities, uplifting her ability to lead with empathy and strategic insight. Jasmine's contributions to organizations like Stockton Service Corps and Rise Stockton reflect her passion for empowering communities and advancing climate action initiatives. Jasmine's educational background in Public Policy, Leadership and Management from Arizona State University, and Applied Economics from the University of the Pacific, further complements her extensive experience and serves as a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
