Jessica Macato

Jessica Macato Teczon (She/Her) was born and raised in South Stockton where she attended McKinley Elementary, Marshall Middle School, and Edison High School. In 2005 she became a member of the St. George Youth Group (SGYG) and began serving on the executive leadership team under Dillon Delvo. It was during this time she met her husband, Michael Macato, who was also born and raised in South Stockton and works on the same leadership team for SGYG even to this day.  Their love for Stockton and their Filipino community was evident when their wedding in 2019 was not only sourced by family and friends, but was a community-driven effort that included resources based all over Stockton, including Little Manila.

Currently, Jessica is now raising her son with her husband in South Stockton the same way they were: to hold our city with pride and to never forget your roots. With our rapidly growing city, Jessica not only wants to see the city grow, but with Little Manila, her goal is to learn more about the changes happening around the city and how she can contribute to Little Manila’s mission of uplifting our Filipino Community.
